Partners Against Crime (PAC) aims to provide a safe and non-threatening environment for people who visit, live and work in Milton Keynes. We do this by linking the retail and business communities with Thames Valley Police, co-ordinating activity to reduce crime and disorder in the area.

PAC is a non profit making, self funding scheme that is run and directed by a cross-representative steering group from major business sectors in Milton Keynes.

A co-ordinator is employed who ensures the smooth running of our day to day operations, including keeping members up to speed with relevant information about local crime and known criminals.

Working Together

Any organisation in the Milton Keynes area, who is concerned about the impact of crime on their business can join PAC for just £10 a week. Whether it’s theft, counterfeit money fraud or anti-social behaviour, PAC has proved that working together can make a difference.

Our founder members include The Centre:MK and Midsummer Place shopping centres, Xscape, MKNews and Central Milton Keynes Partnership and more recently we have welcomed companies from various business sectors. The PAC team work closely with Thames Valley Police, the Milton Keynes Anti-Social Behaviour Team, Probation Services and the Home Office. We also use the National Business Intelligence System and liaise with neighbouring towns to share information on cross border offenders. Those offenders that are most prolific recieve an exclusion notice barring them from ALL PAC member premises.

In 2006 Action Against Business Crime recognised our achievements by awarding PAC the Safer Business Award.
